Bayo Pay chief executive officer Aznul Abdullah said the collaboration was reflective of the company’s commitment to provide continuous enhancement and value-added digital payment and transaction solutions for the construction industry.
KUALA LUMPUR: Bayo Pay (M) Sdn Bhd has recently launched Construx mobile app, a collaboration with MaxMoney Sdn Bhd.
In a statement today, the company said the app would enable more than 600,000 construction personnel holding the CIDB construction personnel registration card (CIDB Green Card) to perform online money transfer overseas.
Bayo Pay chief executive officer Aznul Abdullah said the collaboration was reflective of the company’s commitment to provide continuous enhancement and value-added digital payment and transaction solutions for the construction industry.
“Since digitalisation is the new driver for Malaysia’s economic growth, Bayo Pay aims to be a key player in the implementation of digital payment services in the country,” he said.
Bayo Pay recently launched Construx Payroll and Construx e-wallet as part of the CIDB green card enhancement programme.
The company said the Construx mobile app would be further enhanced with more features to benefit the cardholders and construction industry.
“Bayo Pay offers a platform-based Digital Payment-as-a-Service to its clients via white-labelling the technology and payment system rails needed to offer various financial and non-financial products.
“The digital remittance service ties in well with the Construx Payroll solution where construction companies can enhance the safety and welfare of workers by adopting digital payments.
“Construx Payroll is available at no cost to all contractors and construction personnel who have registered with CIDB,” it said.
